FURIOUS!
So starting this new job is going to kill me. So first I show up for our first meeting two weeks ago and they give me paperwork that I need to fill out basically telling them everyone I have had contact with over the past seven years, where I lived, worked, vacationed, it was nuts. I took the paperwork home and started filling it out, then the following Monday (three days later) they call and tell me they forgot to give me my medical paperwork. I go in and pick it up then go over to the medical clinic and get a TB test done and my hearing tested. I could not get my vision tested till the doctor got back from vacation a week later. So I go in last week and she wants to test my blood to see if I am up do date on a couple of my shots. She tells me to come back on Friday. Meanwhile I made the appointment to go back in to the HR office to turn in my background paperwork and when I show up the lady had a different appointment going on and forgot to put me in her schedule! So I rescheduled for the following day. I get a call later on telling me that she needs to reschedule again for Monday. So I show up today and she decided to take the day off! They tell me I was called to reschedule and I told them "Yes, to reschedule for today." The response I get is "Oh." OH? REALLY? THATS ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY? This is the THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED! So I was forced to reschedule again for tomorrow, when asked when I wanted to come in I said "You tell me when is good for her and I will be here." And if she doesn't show up I'm going to light their office on fire!

SO SO SO GROSS!!!
Last week Brandon was in his military gear closet and he said "It smells in here." So I go in there and sure enough I smelt cat pee, I picked up this towel that was on the floor and it wreaked. I thought I had found the source, so I cleaned it and went on my way. So then yesterday I was in the kitchen and I started to smell the stench of cat pee. I go back in the closet and start to search around and almost every piece of military gear that is on the floor is covered in dry cat pee or poo. It was the most disgusting thing ever! I am not one of those people that lets their cats go anywhere, nor am I one that lets my house get dirty. I don't have a dirty home. If I had known this was going on I would have nipped it in the butt from the beginning. So I spent the day cleaning up the closet and cleaning all the pee out of the gear. I gagged so many times! Then when I was done the closet just kept that smell, it was in the carpet. So I decided I was going to rent a carpet cleaner and clean it up. I looked at prices and for a rug doctor it was gonna cost around $35, and all I needed it to clean was my small closet. Then I saw that the Bissell Little Green was only $90 and had really good reviews.
I decided that for the long term this was probably going to be best. Especially if the cat pee's in there again. I went a bought it, and used it this afternoon. That machine is AMAZING! I totally recommend this product to anyone, it cleaned the carpet deep down.

Tons of applications, 3 interviews, and 3 job offers later...
I finally got a job! So really I could have had a job about a month ago but as the job offer was to work in a fish processing plant as a receptionist (not even what I applied for) I decided that was not for me. It didn't help that when I went to see the plant where I would be working I wanted to puke the second I walked in, had a hard time talking without gagging, and was only there for 30 min and left with the smell of fish implanted into my clothing. I can't work in that kind of environment!
Then a girl from my church randomly called and offered me a job at her work, I didn't even have to interview. I decided I would leave that as a last resort.
I had another interview with the Small Business Development Center, and I thought it went well, but two weeks later I still haven't heard from them.
But lastly I had an interview with Army Community Services for a job in their Child and Youth Services office. The interview started at 10, of course I show up 10 min early, check in and wait 15 min. They called me into the office around 10:05 handed me a sheet of paper with 5 questions and then proceeded to ask said questions. 10 min later the interview was over! It was so short, I couldn't even tell if it went good or bad. I had no idea. But I guess it went well because I got a call that offered me the position. I accepted. So now I start on Monday! Yay! I'm pretty excited.
Dress Shopping
So at the end of this month Brandon told me we have a Military Ball that he wants me to attend with him. That means I need to find a dress. Has anyone ever tried to find a formal dress that is modest that doesn't make me look like I'm a high schooler going to prom? This is a hard feat to accomplish! I finally decided to just buy my dress online and found the website Beautifully Modest. Tons of dresses with sleeves and good lengths. I finally decided on this dress in Chocolate Brown. I would have loved it in black but they did not have it in stock anymore.
But then the day after I ordered it I got an email saying they didn't have that dress in my size at all so I called and had to change my order. I was super disappointed but I finally decided on this dress in Grey.
I really hope it fits me well and that it looks just as good on me as it does on this model. Now I just need to find some new shoes and a bag to go with it, if anyone that reads this has any ideas please let me know, I could use all the help I can get.
