What I've been up to...

Wow I know I don’t have many followers, but I do know I have a couple of followers, I prefer to call them friends because really that’s what they are, that are wondering why I never post anymore. So for all those out there wondering what I have been up to here it is:

Moving
We finally moved on base. That was an exciting day. I think our entire apartment can fit into the dining and living room in my house. And that’s an area of my house I hardly ever go into. I have so many rooms I don’t have the furniture to fill it up or the need for the rooms. My kitchen is HUGE, my family room is HUGE, my bedroom is HUGE, and don’t even get me started on the size of my Laundry room… it too is HUGE! I absolutely LOVE living on base. It’s so convenient for work and basically anything I need to do.
Magnifying my Calling
We go to a new ward now and guess what that means? New callings. I definitely do NOT miss being in primary. Being in there for the past 3 wards we have been in and not being anywhere else can put a huge damper on things. Brandon and I both hoped to get a dual calling to teach Sunday School, but no luck there, He got Sunday school and I got something even better…Ward Chorister! Never in my life have I conducted Music but I learned, and now I love it. So easy. No stress. Pure fun! Not only do I love my new calling but our new ward is absolutely AWESOME! I love the Bishop, never had one that on your first day in the ward he bee-lines it to you after Sacrament Meeting to meet the new people. Everyone is so nice and friendly. BEST WARD EVER!
Visitors
We also had some visitors come to town. My twin Julie came for a week. We had fun though I doubt she will ever come back; too cold for her. Also Brandon’s Mom and Sister came and stayed for a week that was fun too.
Work
I still work at the Youth Center and though it has its days I still really enjoy it. It keeps me busy.
And last but not least…
Getting Pregnant!
Yes I went and got myself knocked up. Pregnancy is not at all fun and joy like some people like you to believe. My first Trimester was pure HELL. I was sick all the time, throwing up anything I put in my body. I think I lived on applesauce and pretzels for a good month. It was awful. I lost 10 pounds which for me is not good because I already only weighed 102 at 5’6. Finally it started to subside and the belly grew in. I have been gaining weight and now am at 105 and the Doctor is very pleased with that progress, especially since I went from 92 to 105 in about a month. She says I should do that every month left of this pregnancy. I am at 20 weeks and so that means the half way point. I miss sleeping on my stomach and back. Sometimes wish my belly weren’t in the way. But for me I guess I’m lucky because people are shocked when they see the size of it and I tell them how far along I am. I’m just little that way. But the good thing is last week we found out we are having a girl! I’m super excited. I was convinced that I was having a boy and even had a name picked out for him but all that went out the window. So now we are trying to come up with a girl’s name and start getting everything ready for her to come.
That’s about all the highlights for now. Things just come and go so fast.
